Have you often wondered about your purpose in life? Do you wonder what you can do to make a difference to the world while passing through? As I have gotten older and crippled up so I can not get  out and teach like I used to, I have thought about it much. I have come to this conclusion; if we can say or do anything nice to put smiles on others faces or help them to keep on keeping on, we are fulfilling our purpose.

As my spine, deteriorates a little more, a little more each day; I still am so thankful for so many blessings, God has given me, along life's way: a wonderful childhood, and teenage years, a wonderful wife, who has taken care of me, all these trying years, four wonderful children, five precious grandchildren. Way back then, things I can't remember now, when I was so much younger, we would harness the horse and milk the cows. Life was young, days of work, nights to play and have fun, playing hockey in the winter, and ball in the summer sun. Pain did not bother us then, we would laugh, and have fun, back when we played, ice hockey in the winter, and ball in the summer sun. God has been gracious, He gave me eternal life through Jesus HIS SON, now in my old age, I read my Bible and thank God, for those days, I played hockey in the winter, and ball in the summer sun!

Another day, Of watching it snow, Looking out my window, Watching the moving branches, As the wind begins to blow. This winter seems so long, We need to see flowers, And hear the robin's song, To see the open streams, To feel the warm sun beams; We need to see, The apple blossoms once more, And the majestic eagle soar.
