Just Thinking!

It was early, I was up, because I couldn’t sleep; I put on my boots, and out the door I did creep. I slowly walked out the old woods trail, and as I peeked through the trees, I saw twelve eyes looking back at me. They were the eyes of six white tailed deer, trying to get a better view and wondering what I was up too! Then I remembered, that we are always being watched, by God’s watchful eye, as our days on earth pass so quickly by. So let us keep our eyes open, and watch each step we take, and with our hand in His; He will lead us through Heaven’s pearly gates. ~Winston Staples

 Today I awoke to soft snow, soft snow fluttering down; the white hillside looking so clean, but I am longing to see, those same hillsides, a beautiful forty shades of green!
