WISE WORDS!

Proverbs 3:1-8 King James Version 3  My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 2  For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. 3  Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4  So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5  Trust in the  Lord  with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7  Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the  Lord , and depart from evil. 8  It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

A Great Psalm!

Psalm 140 King James Version 140  Deliver me, O  Lord , from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man; 2  Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war. 3  They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah. 4  Keep me, O  Lord , from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings. 5  The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah. 6  I said unto the  Lord , Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O  Lord . 7  O  God  the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle. 8  Grant not, O  Lord , the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah. 9  As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief o...

Psalms for Today!

Psalm 129 King James Version 129  Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say: 2  Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me. 3  The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows. 4  The  Lord  is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked. 5  Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. 6  Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up: 7  Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom. 8  Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the  Lord  be upon you: we bless you in the name of the  Lord .

A Quiet Day

A Quiet Day! Jul 11, 2026 — by Winston sr. in  Uncategorized Today is a beautiful Summers day, a quiet breeze is blowing through the pines in the back yard. I love the sound of whispering pines, birds singing and the sound of airplanes leaving the little airport out back; Oh what a wonderful day! This reminds me of Psalms 150 where all things Praise and worship God their Creator and Paul’s words in Philippians 4:9,10. Psalm 150King James Version 150  Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2  Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3  Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4  Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5  Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6  Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the...

Bible Verses for Today!

1 Corinthians 15 King James Version 15  Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2  By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Todays Bible Verses!

Ephesians 2:6-10 Authorized (King James) Version 6  and hath raised  us  up together, and made  us  sit together in heavenly  places  in Christ Jesus:  7  that in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in  his  kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.  8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is  the gift of God:  9  not of works, lest any man should boast.  10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Philippians 4:6-10 Authorized (King James) Version 6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  7  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  8  Finally, brethren, whats...
Oh, what a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bare and Jesus loves me this I know! What great hymns about Jesus! Today we are going to look at a couple more verses that tell us about Jesus.    John 13: 1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.  John 15: 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.   Yes, Jesus loves me for the Bible tells me so!   Luke 22: 27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.    Phil.2: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.   Let’s thank God for the humility of Christ and the paying of our sin debt in full and forever. That o...
