PHIL.4

4  Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. 5  Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus

THE WORD!

The Word is Borne  —- John 1: 1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.    John 14: 5  Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7  If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.   Jesus the word reveals the truth, the way and the life. This is the only way to Eternal life and the FATHER! There is only one true way unto the only one true God. Galatians 4:5-6  (KJV) 4  But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5  To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.  Philippians 2: 5  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6  Who, being in the form of Go...

A Winters Day!

Image
A JANUARY DAY The day is very cold, After the snow, The temperature hovers, At twenty below. The neighbor’s car, Will not start, It growls, to cold, to cold, The truth is the battery is to old. Life’s road gets like that, We have one life, Not nine like the cat. We get weary, And sad in heart; When I feel like this, I read Isaiah forty, And I am encouraged, By verse thirty – one. I pause, Say thanks, To the Trinity, God the Father, God the Holy Spirit, And Jesus, God the Son! ~Winston Staples

Loneliness!

LONELINESS!  Loneliness is my foe, it tries to make me sad, no matter where I am,  no matter where I go. I thank God, for Jesus His Son, Who gives me refuge, and He gives me strength, to finish life’ race, I have to run. God really blessed me, with a beautiful help meet, a special friend, to walk life’s road, with it’s hills and bends, We walked together 57 years, through the good times of laughter, and hard times with tears. Jesus our Redeemer, Jesus our best friend, and in all these times, on Him we could depend. God took her to be present, and in the presence of the Lord; because she was very sick. Yes, loneliness is my foe, it tries to defeat me, wherever I go; but, I have Jesus. Jesus my Redeemer, Jesus my friend, He never leaves me, He never forsakes me, and His friendship never ends. ~Winston Staples
