JUST THINKING!

JUST THINKING! EIGHTY YEARS AGO ON THIS DATE A BOUNCING BABY BOY WAS BORN ON A COLD DECEMBER MORNING WHO HAS GROWN A LOT IN THESE EIGHTY YEARS PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY  AND SPIRITUALLY. OVER 2000 YEARS AGO ON WHAT DAY WE ARE NOT SURE A BOUNCING BABY BOY WAS BORN IN A MANANGER IN BETHLAHEM, TO MARY AND JOSEPTH WHO CHANGED THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD. HE CAME TO LIVE FOR THIRTY THREE YEARS AND THEN DIED ON A TREE BARING THE SIN OF THE WORLD, YES, EVEN THE SIN OF YOU AND ME. SO LET'S REJOICE AND PRAISE HIM, FOR HIS VICTORY OVER SIN AND DEATH AND THIS IS HIS GIFT FOR YOU AND ME IF WE PUT OUR FAITH IN HIM, WITH HIM WE WILL LIVE FOR ETERNITY! THE MESSAGE OF CHRISTMAS WAS WRAPPED IN SWADLING CLOTHES WAS GOD'S LOVE, THROUGH THE LOVE OF HIS CHILD, FOR YOU AND ME! ~WINSTON

COME INTER THE HOLY BOOK!

Colossians 3:10-17 King James Version 10  And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11  Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12  Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13  Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14  And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17  And whatsoe...

PRECIOUS THOUGHTS!

Hello my dear friends, another year as about gone, I miss my deceased wife, since she was called home. I could not have walked on, walked this road called life, without my Heavenly Father, and my family and friends; this old road has steep hills and winding bends, so I lift my eyes, and direct my hearts thoughts, more thoughts toward Heaven. I keep watching the clouds, for my Savior to call me; His name is Jesus, He is coming to take, take us to our heavenly home. Heaven, a everlasting home, a home without sin, pain and strife; where there is neither day or night. With God's glory, wonderful glory, shinning so bright, there is no need for the sun, the sun in the day, and moon and stars at night. Thank you Jesus,  for saving our souls, and giving us white robes, then as we gather around, yes, gather around God's throne; Safely, yes, safely home, home with Jesus, never more to roam! ~Winston Staples

WORDS TO LIVE BY!

Psalm 119:1-15 King James Version 119  Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the  Lord . 2  Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. 3  They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. 4  Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. 5  O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! 6  Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. 7  I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. 8  I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly. 9  Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. 10  With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. 11  Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. 12  Blessed art thou, O  Lord : teach me thy statutes. 13  With ...

A FAVORITE OF MINE!

Philippians 4:6-9 King James Version 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

THE TRAIL!

The other day I went out back in the hard woods and there were deer trails coming and going in all directions. There seemed to be more traffic on one, I think this one led to and fro from their bedding area to their food and drinking area and the others were trails of wandering back and forth. This reminds me of how it is with us humans, we have more trails and time spend in wondering. We are wandering souls searching for something to fill our needs physically and neglect our soul; we need to spend more time travelling on the trail that leads us into God’s word to obtain spiritual food and drink, so lets have a main trail that is evident for others to see.

A PSALM FOR TODAY!

Psalm 37 King James Version 37  Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 2  For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3  Trust in the  Lord , and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4  Delight thyself also in the  Lord : and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5  Commit thy way unto the  Lord ; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. 6  And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. 7  Rest in the  Lord , and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. 8  Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. 9  For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the  Lord , they shall inherit the earth...

Beyond The Cross!

Jesus takes us beyond the cross, around God’s throne to be, singing praises to our King, for eternity. Jesus takes us beyond the cross, for in God’s word, I am told, He became our Savior, so we could walk, the streets of gold. Jesus takes us beyond the cross, to dwell with our Heavenly Father there, He will wipe away our tears, there will be no pain, no sorrow,no care. Jesus takes us beyond the cross, because of His love and grace, so will you put your faith in Him? and dwell with Him in this wonderful place.

WATCH FOR THE TRUE LIGHT!

THE LIGHTHOUSE While driving in the country one night, I saw a small lighthouse, placed on a lawn, in it was a light, that shone from dusk to dawn. The lighthouse was once used to warn, the coming ships of dangers ahead, especially in the bad storms, causing sailor’s dread. what a comfort it must have been, to see it’s flashing light guiding them, around the reefs and the great rocks, avoiding the danger, until the ship safely docks. We believers in Christ, have a lighthouse, as we sail this voyage on life’s sea, it is Christ Himself, guiding you and me. In the Bible, John tells us, Jesus is the light of the world, helping us see the poison darts, Satan and all his demons hurl. Dear friend, if you are still walking, in the valley and darkness of sin, why not ask Christ for forgiveness, and let His light of guidance begin. ~ Winston Staples

PSALMS FOR TODAY!

Psalm 45 King James Version 45  My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. 2  Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. 3  Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty. 4  And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. 5  Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee. 6  Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. 7  Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. 8  All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad...

THE SUPREME GOD!

Job 38 King James Version 38  Then the  Lord  answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, 2  Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? 3  Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. 4  Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. 5  Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? 6  Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 7  When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? 8  Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? 9  When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it, 10  And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, 11  And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall t...

TODAY'S BIBLE READING!

Philippians 3:1-10 King James Version 3  Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe. 2  Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. 3  For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. 4  Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: 5  Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6  Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. 7  But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8  Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered...
