MOODY!

Attitudes Is your attitude a thankful one? Or do you grumble and complain? Is your attitude a serving one? Or when asked to serve, Pass to another’s name? Is your attitude a loving one? Or do you put yourself first, In life’s game? Is your attitude a prayerful one? Or do you seldom call upon God’s name? Is your attitude one of sharing? Or do you show very little caring? These attitudes are not God’s plan, They are the attitudes of a selfish man! ~Winston Staples

PATIENCE!

Patience: Patience—n. tolerance, forbearance . Patience is a fruit of the Holy Spirit and should be growing and produced in every Saint. Gal.5:22— long-suffering Romans 15:5—Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like minded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: God is the God of patience, it is a characteristic of His divine nature! Isaiah 53:7; Acts.8:32; Matt.27:14.   Isaiah 53:7–He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.  Acts.8:32–The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his Shearer, so opened he not his mouth:   Christ is our example for patience and long-suffering. He suffered that terrible death that we may have life; O, what a Savior! Titus 2:2; 2 Peter 1:6—  Titus 2:2–That the aged men be...

The May flowers are, Starting to bloom, Along the driveway, The yellow daffodils, Grow on my lawn, Sadly, Soon they will be gone. The robins sing its Spring, its Spring! Bible Verses for Life!

Colossians 3:10-15King James Version 10  And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11  Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12  Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13  Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14  And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Dawn!

DAY BREAK What a beautiful morning, the sun is shining bright, it makes my heart sing, as it removes the darkness, and reveals it’s marvelous light. The bright reflection on the water, shines so brightly in my eyes, and in the pines, a lonesome dove, makes it’s lonely cry, but off to the right, I hear a robin sing, cheer up, cheer up, it is spring! ~ Winston Staples

GOD IS NEAR!

God is near, as I walk in the forest green, and when I sit by clear waters, and I sense His presence, when I view the white tailed deer. I enjoy His presence in the morning, while walking through a beautiful garden, seeing the lily and the golden daffodil. I know He is with me, while I am walking in a deep valley, or climbing very steep hills. I feel His warmth in the sunshine, and His freshness in the rain, and His gracious hand of mercy, while I am living with my pain. I feel God’s presence, when I read His Holy Word, there He reveals His story, the greatest love story ever heard. When I awake in the morning, I have nothing to fear, I praise God and give thanks, that my Lord is near.~ Winston Staples

OVER THE HILL!

Looking out, over the hill, I see, a path winding, quiet and still; Nany times, a whitetail crosses, to walk, through the cedar, and on the mosses. O, how I love, this old path, to walk, and enjoy the solitude, sometimes, I see a dove, or an eagle fly, soaring so smoothly, up high in the sky. ~ Winston Staples

A Sunny Sunday!

Today as I prepare to join my brother to zoom into church by Zoom; I look out my window and see a nice sunny August morning to open my King James Bible and see what God wants me to apply to my life today. The portion I want to share with you today is Philippians four verses 4-10 KJV. 4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and hear...
Today is another nice sunny day, a nice day to be happy and blessed and sing praises to God the creator of  all things great and small! Have a wonderful day all who read this message!

OLD HYMNS!

I love the old hymns and little choruses we used to sing around the fire at summer Bible camp. A favorite now is ” He is able “; it goes like this. He’s able, He’s able, I know He’s able, I know my Lord is able to carry me through. [ Repeat] He healed the brokenhearted and set the captive free; He made the lame to walk again and caused the blind to see. He’s able, He’s able, I know He’s able; I know my Lord is able to carry me through. If you need a lift, He can carry you!

Favourite Psalms!

Today I am sharing two of my favorite Psalms which I believe go hand in hand with each other. These are Psalm 121 and 23. Psalm 121 King James Version (KJV) 121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Psalm 23 King James Version (KJV) 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake....

LOVE!

True Love: they say, love is a many splendor thing, it can make the feet dance and your heart sing. True love can begin a new life, without love, that new life, can be snuffed out, by a surgeon’s knife. God loved us, by sending His Son, and through His love, death, and resurrection, eternal life for us was won. Loving one another, is the greatest commandment, according to God’s word, love gives greater victory, than using a sword. Let’s love one another, with smiles on our face, loving one another and thanking God for His grace. ~ Winston Staples

Scripture Reading for Today!

Hello my friends: Today I am sharing the third Psalm trusting it will bless as you read  and study this Psalm. Psalm 3 King James Version 3  Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. 2  Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. 3  But thou, O  Lord , art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. 4  I cried unto the  Lord  with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. 5  I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the  Lord  sustained me. 6  I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. 7  Arise, O  Lord ; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. 8  Salvation belongeth unto the  Lord : thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

Heaven on my Mind!

O, to walk on those streets of gold, that are in Heaven, I’m told, to see the Jasper walls, and those gates of pearl, O, to live without sin, trouble or pain, no heartaches at all, and be able to talk, talk with Jesus and Apostle Paul. O, to see the crystal sea, and listen to the Angels sing, and gather around God’s throne, and with every sound proclaim, worthy is the LAMB that was slain!

Desire!

Longings: Dear soul, do you long for a place of perfect rest? Do you long for a place where the sun never sets? Do you long to be free from toil and stress? Do you long for a place with cloudless skies, no sorrow and no goodbyes? Dear soul, do you long for painless days, and where the roses bloom forever? Do you long for a place with eternal gladness and to give eternal praise? Dear soul, that place is Heaven, with Christ to remain. Dear soul, you need no money or fame, come to Jesus, He will put you on the train! Winston Staples

Seas of Life!

Setting Sail: Life is like a voyage, sailing across the sea, setting our sails, to find breezes to set us free. as we set sail, we find the sailing may be rough, the waves roaring high, visibility mighty tough. We discover it is so hard, to be captain of our ship, when we have an enemy, seeking to make us slip. When our lives, like the ships, face tempest and despair, we need to seek a harbor, and find shelter there. In this voyage, we have a choice, who will captain our ship, Jesus, who wants to save us; Satan who wants us scuttle our ship. So dear soul, who will your captain be; Satan who keeps you in bondage, or Jesus who will set you free?

ROADS!

Roads: Some roads are long and narrow, some roads have hills dangerously steep, some roads are short and wide, some roads have valleys very deep. All roads have a beginning, all roads have an end; but all roads are not our friend. The Bible speaks of two roads, one narrow and one wide, the wide one leads to destruction, and on this road, everyone’s journey begins. The other road, the straight and narrow, this road is where God wants you to be, this road is entered by knowing Jesus, our one true guide you see. This road leads to Heaven, with Jesus on our side, when we reach Heaven, with God we will abide. ~ Winston Staples

Scripture for Today!

Trusting!

TRUSTING! TO WALK IN TRUST IS BELIEVING IN AND HAVING FAITH IN WHOM WE FOLLOW. THINGS MANKIND SHOULD NOT TRUST IN: THE WORLD SUPPER POWERS TRUST THEIR WEAPONS TO THREATEN WEAKER NATIONS. PSALM 44: 6-8 TELLS US NOT TO PUT OUR TRUST IN WEAPONS. PSALM 49:6-7 IT IS NOT WISE TO PUT TRUST IN OUR WEALTH. WE CANNOT TRUST OUR LEADERS TO SAVE US FROM OUR TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS; ONLY GOD IN HIS THREE PERSONS CAN. HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS THE POWER TO DO SO. WE CANNOT TRUST OURSELVES WE MUST PLACE OUR TRUST IN GOD TO SAVE OUR INNER MAN[EZEK,33:13.] WE CANNOT PLACE OUR TRUST IN OUR WORKS TO SAVE SOULS ONLY GOD IN HIS THREE PERSONS CAN DO THAT. [JER,48:7] AS WE WALK THIS ROAD CALLED LIFE WE MUST HAVE SECURE ANCHORS FOR US TO FINISH OUR WALK WELL. WILL YOUR ANCHOR HOLD IN THE STORMS OF LIFE? GOD WANTS US TO TRUST IN: WE READ IN PSALM 33:21[KJV] FOR OUR HEART MAY REJOICE IN HIM BECAUSE WE HAVE TRUSTED IN HIS HOLY NAME. YES, WE CAN HAVE FAITH IN GOD’S HOLY NAME BECAUSE IT ENDURES FOREVER. PSALMS FOR TODAY!

Psalm 1 King James Version 1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2  But his delight is in the law of the  Lord ; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4  The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5  Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6  For the  Lord  knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shal

A SPECIAL FREIND!

A Special Friend! Oh, what a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bare and Jesus loves me this I know! What great hymns about Jesus! Today we are going to look at a couple more verses that tell us about Jesus.    John 13: 1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.  John 15: 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.   Yes, Jesus loves me for the Bible tells me so!   Luke 22: 27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.    Phil.2: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.   Let’s thank God for the humility of Christ and the paying of our sin debt in full a...

BIBLE VERSE!

Verse of the Day Luke 12:15 KJV And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
