Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isa.41:10

Todays Scripture!
Sometimes I am asked what my favourite book of the Bible and I reply Romans; Sometimes I am asked what are favourite chapters are and I reply Romans five and eight King James version. I love the letters Apostle Paul wrote to the church bodies he help start and minister to the Gentiles. I am sharing Romans 5:1-10 today.
5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
A Writing!
As I look,
at the rushing brook,
I sing ” GLORY TO HIS NAME”.
As I look,
at the forest green,
I sing ” GLORY TO HIS NAME”.
As I look,
at the mighty pines,
I sing ” GLORY TO HIS NAME”.
As I look,
at the majestic hills,
I sing ” GLORY TO HIS NAME”.
As I look,
at the everlasting skies,
I sing ” GLORY TO HIS NAME”.

Observations
I sit looking across the hills,
watching the birds fly,
flying to and fro,
to the bird feeder,
across the road.
The hills have lost,
their beautiful multi-colors,
and now are greens and grey;
soon the will be covered,
with a white blanket,
when they receive ,
the first fall of snow.
So let's sing praises
to our Heavenly Father,
all ye voices on high,
and all ye voices below,
lifting a sweet sound,
as we sing "How great thou art"
and a hearty rendition,
of "Joy to the world"
and "God rest ye merry gentlemen",
"O what a friend we have in Jesus"
and close our singing,
with "O Holy Night".

Bible Reading!
Colossians 3:10-14King James Version
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

King Foretold!
10 And the angel said unto them,
Fear not: for, behold,
I bring you good tidings of great joy,
which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day
in the city of David a Saviour,
which is Christ the Lord.

Christmas
As time speeds forwards to Christmas,
Put a smile on your face.
and a song in your heart,
and as you share your new attitude,
others will find new feelings,
they will enlighten the Christmas spirit.

SEEING!
This morning,
I opened the front door,
I heard something,
I looked into the sky,
a gaggle of Canada geese,
were landing,
in their v formation,
into a large corn field,
whose golden ears,
they will fleece.
The sight and sounds,
are a sure sign,
that Autumn is here;
Such a pretty time,
to see God’s creation,
so colorful, so supreme.
Thank you Father,
for being always around,
watching, the sky, the sea,
and on the ground!

Say Thank You!
SAY THANK YOU
When you awake at dawn,
and are still able to yawn,
say thank you!
If you are tired and groggy,
and your mind is still foggy,
say thank you!
If you can still tie your shoes,
and smell the coffee brew,
say thank you!
If you can walk out the door,
and go to the store,
say thank you!
If you have a dear friend,
and have precious time to spend,
say thank you!
If you can begin each day,
and are able to pray,
say thank you!
If you can take time to be still,
and read God’s word,
and seek His will,
say thank you!
Even with all my sin,
by God’s grace,
into His sheltering arms,
He welcomed me in,
and I will always say thank you!

TODAY'S PSALM!
Psalm 149King James Version
149 Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.

Creation!
God’s Creation
and saw God’s created moon,
shining brightly across my bed.
I asked myself,
what is in the evolutionist head?
Rocks and stones,
and very old bones,
instead of what God said.
So wake up, my friends,
believe His word,
and place it in your mind’s bank.
Let us enjoy,
every sea breeze,
and all His creation you see,
and give Him, your praise and thanks!

Adoption (3)
We have in a few days been looking at verses from the Bible about the adoption of Saints into the Family of God; We will continue to do that today my friends. John writes in John 11:52–And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. Saints are gathered together into one family by Christ! The question is how can one be adopted into the family of God? It Is recorded in John 1:12-13–
12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. By receiving the gift of the new birth offered by Jesus we are adopted into the Family of God! The Apostle Paul writes in Romans 8:16 that the Holy Spirit witnesses our adoption. Note Verse 17,We are not only adopted but made joint heirs with Christ! What is Christ’s is ours! We show that we are His adopted children by following the leading of the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:14.
What the Bible tells us about adoption into the family of God. Romans 8:15; Galatians 4:6. Galatians 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. As Saints we have the Holy Spirit dwelling in our hearts! John 1:12; 1 John 3:1. 1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. It is a privilege to be adopted into the family of God. John 20:17; Hebrews 2:11-12. Hebrews 2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. Our adoption makes us a brother or sister of Christ!

Adoption ( 2 )
When Jesus paid our sin debt in full we were adopted into the greatest family ever, the family of God. Today we are going to read more verses about our adoption. Romans 8:29; Eph.1:5,11. Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Eph.1:5 Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will;11In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: Hosea 2:23; Romans 9:24-26; Eph.3:6. Hosea 2:23 Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth,And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; Then I will say to those who were not My people,Romans 9:24 even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?25 As He says also in Hosea:“ I will call them My people, who were not My people,And her beloved, who was not beloved.”26 “ And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them,‘ You are not My people,’There they shall be called sons of the living God.
Today we learned that, [1] We were chosen to be adopted and [2] Gentile adoption was predicted.

Creations Beauty!
Sitting looking out my window pane, everything’s so beautiful and green, being washed and refreshed by the falling rain. A woodpecker is tapping on a dead pine, tap, tap, tap, what a hammering sound; a chipmunk, carrying a piece of bread, scurries across the ground. Yes, as I look out, all nature is alive! Leaves so green, flowers so pretty in blossom everywhere; tells me we have a creator, who really cares. He not only cares for our physical being, and because of His love, He wants our soul to be free, and all His spiritual blessings seeing. Yes, He wants to set us free, from our bondage of sin; He sent Jesus, His only Son, and by His sacrifice, complete victory could be won.

SEEING!
Seeing!
Eighty- four years has slipped quickly by,
I have seen sadness,
I have seen times of joy;
I have seen make me laugh,
And have enjoyed God’s creation,
As I looked across a valley,
And it’s forty shades of green,
And thank God for allowing me,
To see the sights I have seen.
I love to listen to old hymns,,
As they run through my mind,
And the pictures they paint,
Such as “How Great Thou Art”;
I see eagles soar across,
Mountains and forest green,
I bow my head,
and say thank you
God for allowing me,
To see all the sights I have seen!

NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD!
Some folks seem to be offended by singing about the blood and want hymns that sing about the blood of Christ removed. Hymns like, ” Redeemed, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb”; There is power in the blood”; ” Alas! And did my Savior bleed”; ” Saved by the blood of the Crucified One”; ” When I see the blood”; ” My faith has found a resting place”, and many others. Dear folk, if we remove the blood, we remove the gospel; If we remove the blood, we remove our hope; If we remove the blood, we remove the Savior. We remove His love, His grace and His salvation. Without the shedding of the blood of Jesus, we have no hope of salvation and no hope of Heaven. With out the shedding of the blood of Jesus we have no remission of sins and no hope for mankind. Jesus said, ” I am the way, the truth and the life, and no man cometh to the Father but by me.” The shedding of the blood of Jesus purchased our ticket to Heaven! ~ Winston Staples

BIBLE READING FOR TODAY!
Psalm 102King James Version
102 Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee.
2 Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.
3 For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.
4 My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.
5 By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.
6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.
7 I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.
8 Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.
9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping.
10 Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.
11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.
12 But thou, O Lord, shall endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

Balanced!
COMFORT FOR THE WEAK
As this old body gets weak
And the pain grows great,
And I find it hard to pray,
As my headaches get worse everyday.
I can no longer read God’s word,
And meditate on message,
That is heard.
My friend Ed Sealy,
wrote these words,
In a song,
He sings so well.
Titled ” Caught in The Balances”
The words go like this:
” Lord I’d love to praise you,
But my body’s to weak,
I can’t read your Word
To hear as you speak,
But I have your presence,
You promised to me,
When I”m caught in the balances,
Trusting in Thee.”
This is the first verse of the song; I trust you will enjoy it!
