Written by Winston sr. in Uncategorized As I look out my window, at a drear cloudy day, the sunshine of yesterday, has like the fluffy clouds floated away; This day outside may be dreary, but my soul is rejoicing, because like the fluffy clouds, have all rolled away. I asked Jesus to forgive me, and cleanse all my sin, by the washing of His blood, and applying to the Holy of Ho lies, a sacrifice for all our sin, allowing the Holy Spirit, to enter in our new man; giving victory over death, and setting us free, by the power of His Spirit, saved by His grace and not our merit! ~Winston Staples

Desires of The Heart! SOMETIMES WHEN I SIT, LONGINGS COME TO ME, LONGINGS TO TRAVEL, TO FAR AWAY PLACES, TO HEAR DIFFERENT SOUNDS, DIFFERENT FACES SEE. LONGINGS TO WALK, ALONG MOUNTAIN TRAILS, ALONG THE SEAS, AND THROUGH GARDENS, MANY FLOWERS TO SEE. SOME DAYS I LONG, LONG FOR HEAVEN, THERE JESUS I WILL SEE, IN THIS HEAVENLY PLACE, NO PAIN AND SORROW, NO CLOUDY SKIES WILL BE, NO MORE LONGINGS FOR ME.

There is a trail, out back of the house, winding over the hill, so peaceful and still. On that old trail, I have walked, and watched the white tailed deer. On that old trail, I have heard, the wild goose call, echo through the cool air of fall. Om this old trail, I have watched, the wild flowers bloom, have heard the crows, and bumble bees zoom. Yes,  this old trail, takes me to and fro, my favorite place, where the red pine trees grow. On this old trail, I go, to meditate and pray, to my heavenly Father above, and say thank you, for His everlasting love.

Thanks Father! Thank you Father for your creation so fare, and for all these things you truly care. Thank you Father for the sun so bright, and the stars and moon that shine at night. Thank you Father for all the beauty you give us to see, may we use these to enlighten us about Thee. Thank you Father for the herbs and meat and all the good things you give us to eat. Thank you Father for the birds and bees, and all the blessings from the trees. Thank you Father for your word to me, and listening to my prayers, from where ever I might be. Thank you Father for sending Jesus your Son, that through Him salvation to mankind would come. Thank you Father for being our refuge in storms, and giving wisdom for your service to preform. Thank you Father for each morning, each a new beginning for a closer walk with you, one with less sinning. ~Winston Staples

Edifying Words! HEAVEN’S SPLENDOR O, to walk on those streets of gold, that are in Heaven, I’m told, to see the Jasper walls, and those gates of pearl, O, to live without sin, trouble or pain, no heartaches at all, and be able to talk, talk with Jesus and Apostle Paul. O, to see the crystal sea, and listen to the Angels sing, and gather around God’s thrown, and with every sound proclaim, worthy is the LAMB that was slain!

Is your attitude a thankful one? or do you grumble and complain? Is your attitude a serving one? or when asked to serve, you pass to another’s name. Is your attitude a loving one? or is self first in life’s game? Is your attitude a prayerful one? do you seldom call upon God’s name? Is your attitude one of sharing? or do you show very little caring? These negative attitudes, are not God’s plan, they are the attitudes of selfish man ~  Winston  Staples

 Hello my friends: Today in my time of reflection I turned to one of my favourite chapters Romans 5. Today I am sharing the first 12 verses. Romans 5:1-12 King James Version 5  Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2  By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3  And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4  And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5  And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. 6  For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7  For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9...

Creations Beauty Sitting looking out my window pane, everything’s so beautiful and green, being washed and refreshed by the falling rain. A woodpecker is tapping on a dead pine, tap, tap, tap, what a hammering sound; a chipmunk, carrying a piece of bread, scurries across the ground. Yes, as I look out, all nature is alive! Leaves so green, flowers so pretty in blossom everywhere; tells me we have a creator, who really cares. He not only cares for our physical being, and because of His love, He wants our soul to be free, and all His spiritual blessings seeing. Yes, He wants to set us free, from our bondage of sin; He sent Jesus, His only Son, and by His sacrifice, complete victory could be won.

The Stream There is a crooked stream, running quiet and still, just half a mile, over that hill. One day last fall, there was a big rain, that old stream was raging, a rage no man could tame. It roared and rushed, took houses and land, where ever it went, it obeyed no command. Sometimes our life, is like that stream, all peaceful and calm, then comes trials, that explode like a bomb. We have a place, where we can go, to our Heavenly Father, who by His loving hand, soothes and calms, that raging stream, with one command, it obeys His will, as He speaks, Peace be still. –Winston Staples– Share this: face book, twitter
