Blessed assurance Jesus is mine O what a foretaste of glory divine. I love this old hymn " Blessed Assurance" written long ago by Fanny Crosby. O what assurance we have in Jesus! I am going to share some with you now. 1/ Fellowship and union with God.--- 1 Cor.6:19-20; Eph.5:30; 1 Cor.1:9; 1 John 1 3,6-7. 2/ Peace with God.--- Romans 5:1; 2:10,11; 8:6; 14:17-19; 15:13; John 14:27; Eph.2:14-17. 3/ Spirits testimony.--- Romans 8:15-16. Absolute assurance.--- Romans 8:33-39; 2 Timothy 1:12.
