A NEW MORNING!

-
I awoke,
the rain has stopped,
and the sun peaks,
through the passing clouds;
the snow is almost gone,
off the old shop roof.
I am longing,
now for spring,
to hear the robin sing,
cheer-up, cheer-up,
nature awakens,
with the sounds of spring!
