I gaze out my window, up the old country road, where I have walked, yes, walked many a mile, and all my life have growed. I remember, the Christmases of youth, where we enjoyed, the presents we got, the family fellowship, eating turkey, pies and candy, and that is the truth. Early Christmas morning, we would grab our skates, new pucks and hockey sticks, rush to Jake's house, silently enter quiet as a mouse. We would all go to the ice pond, many men would gather there, we played until noon, and many stayed hours beyond. We  chased that old puck, enjoying the game, having so much fun, all glad they had come. Just Thinking! As I was sitting with my eyes closed, my mind wandered back to the cool fall evening in 1958. On that night in a little Baptist church I was convicted by the Holy Spirit that I was lost in sin and needed a Savior. The message that night was if you were to die tonight where would you spend Eternity. I went home and could not sleep, went back to that little Baptist Church the following night waiting for the invitation and walked up the aisle being a new creature by saying yes to Jesus as He called.

Leaning over the railing, on an old bridge, watching the water rushing bye, remembering, the days gone bye, when I fished with the fly. There is an old birch tree, that, when I look out my window, I can clearly see, it has many small trees, gathered all around, where many song birds, can be found. Chickadees sing their song, and the Robins sing, cheer up, cheer up to me. Off to my right, fifty feet or so, high in a Pine , sits a black crow; just over the knoll, looking out the road, leading to out back, is a new trail, of fresh deer tracks. God has given, to us many blessings, ears to hear, eyes to see, hands to touch, and mouths to speak, speak thanks and praise!

Fluffy clouds floating bye, so far, so far, up in the baby blue sky. Fluffy clouds floating bye, so fluffy, so white, as the birds fly high. Fluffy white clouds, clouds floating bye, their beautiful formations, makes my heart sing, and makes my soul sigh. God of the Universe, Creator of all things, all Praise and all Glory to you, Lord of Lords, and King of Kings.

Dear soul, there is only one way to Heaven; His name is Jesus! When the time comes to pass through  death's door, if you depend on anything or anyone but Jesus, you will not get there, you will fall way  short.

I came across this old hymn, titled " Jesus thy Boundless Love for Me" and I am sharing this one verse, that reads like this: " In suffering, be thy love, my peace; in weakness, be thy love my power; and when the storms of life shall cease, Jesus, in the important hour, in death as life be thou my guide, and save me, who for me hast died."

God gives us love; God gives mercy, and He gives grace. He sent Jesus, His salvation, so we could, have real joy, real peace, and tell, the world about, His amazing grace.

Looking at a grove, grove of white birch, on these trees, many birds have perched. Robins, sparrows and crows, on and on the list goes; everyday they come, everyday they go, so many birds, like the cooing dove, and the cawing crow.

I awoke, the rain has stopped, and the sun peaks, through the passing clouds; the snow is almost gone, off the old shop roof. I am longing, now for spring, to hear the robin sing, cheer-up, cheer-up, nature awakens, with the sounds of spring!

The sun is setting in the West, the wind is blowing, out of the very cold North, as the white birch, sway back and forth. What a beautiful sight, the western skies, the silhouettes of swaying trees, as the sun says it goodbyes. God's creation is everlasting, stretching from eternity to eternity. God's love is everlasting, and He loves His children, from eternity to eternity!

Years back,  when I was young, how I liked to fish, and watch for the salmon run. To wade the water, feel it's force, against my feet, hoping for a catch, a great prize, a great fish to eat. To see that great fish, make it's runs, it was so much fun, it was so neat.

The Swamp There is an old bog, where I used to walk bye, on warm sunny days, with a baby blue sky. The red winged black birds were singing, the frogs were crooking everywhere. In that old swamp or bog, there are many floating logs, on which the birds perch, while on the shore, the beaver cut birch. As I walked, I talked, thanking God for such, such a beautiful day.

The eagle soars high, in the evening sky, looking for super, with it's keen eyes. The eagle, moves it's mighty wings, to climb, a little higher, so it can glide, for many miles, down the valley, so it will not tire.

Gazing out my window, I see, the sun trying to hide below the western hills and the out stretched limbs  of the many hardwoods. God gives our eyes, to behold, such sights are worth, more than silver, and more than gold.
