THIS OLD STREAM
Leaning over the railing, on an old bridge, watching the water rushing bye, remembering, the days gone bye, when I fished with the fly. The water rushes in some places, in other places it lies quiet and lies so still. Some places it makes waterfalls as it flows over hills. Our lives, are like this old stream; we have our times of calm and peace, while other times troubles, rush in like the water falling over the hills, but, if we have an anchor for our soul; we will have rest and peace, given by our Master. He is in control! ~ Winston Staples

Philippians 4:6-9 NKJV - Be anxious for nothing, but in - Bible Gateway: "Philippians 4:6-9New King James Version (NKJV)
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Meditate on These Things
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you."

TO SLEEP! | Wint68's Blog
TO SLEEP! | Wint68's Blog: "Now I lay down to sleep,
Listening to hymns,
Soothing and sweet.
Now I lay down to sleep,
Trusting God my soul to keep;
Now I lay down to sleep,
Thinking of Jesus’s love so deep.
Now I lay down to sleep
Thanking Him for today
And protection in the night,
In Him all things complete.
Now I lay down to sleep,
Meditating on His word,
A refuge from the devil,
As into my life,
he tries to creep;
Now I lay down to sleep,
Talking to Jesus,
And not counting sheep."

WATCHING
O, what a beautiful sunrise,
golden streaks,
woven through the clouds,
what a great sight,
flashing before my eyes.
