My Dream!

The Dream Last night I dreamed a dream, some might call it a nightmare, and they would scream. I was in a large fancy building, people were everywhere, there was no Bible reading, and there was no prayer; I asked,  whom do you worship? They answered,  the world is our master, I answered, I don't agree wit you there! Jesus is my Master, I hear His loving words, I see Him  everywhere! ~Winston Staples

Remembering!

Looking into the woods, from my study window, thinking many thoughts, thoughts that are good; I see me when I was young, walking the woods trails, laughing and having fun; I see me crying when Grandpa died, and exercising my dog by my side. I see me married, walking hand in hand, with my dear wife, a lady, lovely and grand. I see me a few years later, playing hide and seek, with my children, richly blessed by things that matter. I see me now old and grey, unable to work, unable to play. I see me richly blessed, able to praise God, and talk with Him and make my request. ~Winston Staples

Today's Psalms!

The Psalms I have chosen is the first one in my King James Bible! Psalm 1 King James Version 1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2  But his delight is in the law of the  Lord ; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4  The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5  Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6  For the  Lord  knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Love of God!

June 09, 2026  Today is sunny with a gentle breeze blowing as I prepare another study from Romans in my King James Bible, Turn with me to chapter eight. Verse one we read that there is no condemnation for those who believe and follow the gospel as written in 1Cor.15:1-4 and Romans 8:3,4. Verse 6,13 of chapter 8 tell us to be spiritually minded gives life and peace. Verse 14 says those who live or walk in the spirit are the sons of God.  We who walk in the spirit are adopted by God and can call Him Abba Father. Now let's jump to verses 35-39 and see what Paul writes about the love of God toward the believers and followers of Jesus the Christ. Tribulation, nakedness, peril, sword, persecution shall not, nay, all these things shall not keep us from being conquerors though Him that loves us. Verse 38 Paul writes that he was persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other...

BEYOND THE CROSS1

Image
Jesus takes us beyond the cross, around God’s throne to be, singing praises to our King, for eternity. Jesus takes us beyond the cross, for in God’s word, I am told, He became our Savior, so we could walk, the streets of gold. Jesus takes us beyond the cross, to dwell with our Heavenly Father there, He will wipe away our tears, there will be no pain, no sorrow,no care. Jesus takes us beyond the cross, because of His love and grace, so will you put your faith in Him? and dwell with Him in this wonderful place.

THE GIVER!

The Giver: The Bible says, it is more blessed to give than receive! Down through the ages, there have been many great givers, the greatest of them is God Himself. He gave mankind all the wondrous gifts found in creation: the sun, the moon, the stars, the seas and all creatures great and small. In the beginning all was at peace in the garden; then came the devil, then came sin; then came death to all,But the love of God still was there! Because of sin, man was separated from his perfect fellowship with God. God still loved His creation so in order to save it, God, through His wonderful grace sent His Son Jesus, to live on earth, to die on earth and to resurrect from earth returning to God the Father, there interceding for man at this very moment. So from the start of time to the finish of time, God is and forever will be the greatest giver with the greatest gift! Dear soul why not except His greatest Gift of all? Eternal life through Jesus, His Son.~ Winston Staples

WONDERFUL SOUNDS!

SOUNDS I love the sound, of the morning dove, when he calls his mate in love; I love the sound, of the distant loon, as he sings his mournful tune; I love the sound, of the gentle breeze, as it moves and rustles the leaves; I love the sound, of the falling rain, as it strikes against the window pane; I love the sound, of the babbling brook’ as I sit and dangle my hook; I love the sound, of the lullaby, as the mother soothes her child’s cry. I love the sound, all creation gives, and shouts the news, our creator lives; I love the sound, of God’s Holy word, and the great message it gives to be heard, salvation and great hope for the lost, comes from God at great cost. If this great truth they believe, eternal life they shall receive. There is a sound, I am waiting for, the sound of a great shout, and a trumpets blare, when the Saints will meet, Christ in the air; We will be ushered to Heaven above, because of His amazing grace and eternal love. ~ Winston Staples

Creation!

CREATED While strolling through the woods today, I was awed by the beauty of creation, I was seeing along the way, it encircled my being. The baby blue sky, the multitude of brightly colored leaves, red, orange, yellow and gold, their beauty, breath taking to behold. The sparkling water of the beaver dam, reflecting all the beauty around about, caused my heart to want to shout. Praise God! Praise God! To God, our Creator there is no doubt. Yes, all these things seen, were created by the voice of God, the creator of everything. The only exception was man, we were created by God’s mighty hand. Yes You are the great I AM! ~ Winston Staples

Todays Psalms!

Psalm 11 KJV                                                             3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? 4  The  Lord  is in his holy temple, the  Lord 's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. 5  The  Lord  trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. 6  Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. 7  For the righteous  Lord  loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

Blessed Words!

Matthew 5: 1-12 KJV. 5  And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: 2  And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, 3  Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4  Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 5  Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. 6  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. 7  Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 8  Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. 9  Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. 10  Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12  Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: ...

Favourite Psalms

143  Hear my prayer, O  Lord , give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness. 2  And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified. 3  For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead. 4  Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate. 5  I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands. 6  I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. 7  Hear me speedily, O  Lord : my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit. 8  Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. 9  Deliver ...
